Julian was kind enough to drive us through upper Manhatten and the ever bustling Times Square, and he even treated us to a particularly srumptious Kosher resturant called "Mr. Broadways".

Temple Mount in Jerusalem Jewish activists in Jerusalem are using buses to deliver an in-your-face message to Muslims by calling for the immediate destruction of the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock on the city's disputed Temple Mount. The bulldozing of the Muslim holy sites, say leaders of Our Land of Israel, will pave the way for construction of the Third (Jewish) Temple. "The Arabs and President Obama know that the Temple will be built on the Temple Mount," said Rabbi Shalom Dov Volpo, the group's founder, "instead of the temporary buildings that are there today."
According to the Jerusalem Post, 200 buses now carry posters picturing the Third Temple sitting atop the mount alone – with no Muslim buildings in sight – along with the words, "May the Bais Hamikdosh [Holy Temple] be rebuilt speedily and within our days." Adding fuel to the fire, the campaign's organizers told the Post they've targeted buses with routes through predominately Arab neighborhoods in east Jerusalem. "We're representing the truth, in front of everyone, and saying out loud what every Jew believes," said Our Land of Israel activist Baruch Marzel, "that the Third Temple needs to be built immediately on the Temple Mount and that the mosque should not be there." (Story continues below) When asked about sparking Muslim furor over the posters, Marzel told the Post, "It upsets them that we're alive, and that we're living here." He continued, "If such a basic point is going to p--- them off, then we might as well say what we truly believe and what we pray for three times a day – that is to rebuild the holy temple on top of the Temple Mount, and tomorrow, not to wait any longer." The First Temple refers to the structure built by King Solomon in the 10th century B.C. It was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C. The Second Temple was then rebuilt in 515 B.C. after Jerusalem was freed from Babylonian captivity. That temple was destroyed by the Roman Empire in A.D. 70. Each temple stood for a period of about four centuries. The Temple was the center of religious worship for ancient Israelites. It housed the Holy of Holies, which contained the Ark of the Covenant and was said to be the area upon which God's presence dwelt. All biblical holidays centered on worship at the Temple.
The Temples served as the primary location for the offering of sacrifices and were the main gathering place for Israelites. According to the Talmud, the world was created from the foundation stone of the Temple Mount. It's believed to be the biblical Mount Moriah, the location where Abraham fulfilled God's test to see if he would be willing to sacrifice his son Isaac. The Temple Mount has remained a focal point for Jewish services for thousands of years. Prayers for a return to Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Temple have been uttered by Jews since the Second Temple was destroyed, according to Jewish tradition. The Al Aqsa Mosque, however, was constructed in about A.D. 709 to serve as a shrine near another shrine, the Dome of the Rock, which was built by an Islamic caliph. Al Aqsa was meant to mark what Muslims came to believe was the place at which Muhammad, the founder of Islam, ascended to heaven to receive revelations from Allah. Our Land of Israel states its goal is "to oppose and fight the political accords with the Arabs that include land or security concessions." "Eretz Yisroel is our G-d given land and belongs to the Jews exclusively," the group's website states. "Any accord or agreement that includes land concessions endangers the Jewish nation and world peace." The son and heir apparent of a founder of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, Yousef broke the heart of his pious, close-knit family and put their lives and his own in danger with his announcement two years ago that he had become a follower of Jesus Christ. Today, the threats have only intensified since he shifted his mission from saving lives by battling terrorism to saving Muslims souls by exposing Islam as "the biggest lie in human history."
In a telephone conference call Thursday with WND and several Christian publications, Yousef explained that, along with Hamas, secular media and members of some mainline Christian denominations are trying to discredit the story he tells in the new book "Son of Hamas," which is No. 10 on the New York Times best-seller list this week.
It's a story many find hard to believe, he acknowledged.
But the "secret is very simple," said the 32-year-old Yousef. "When the love of our Lord is in a man's heart, this man acts totally different."
"They don't want to admit that," he said of his detractors. "If they admit that what changed my life was Jesus Christ, this will open lots of questions, and they don't want to go there."

Hamas has dismissed his claims as Zionist propaganda, but one of his Shin Bet handlers has confirmed his account to the Israeli daily Haaretz. Yousef was recruited by Shin Bet in 1996 at the age of 18 while at a detention facility of the Russian Compound in Jerusalem. He was arrested after buying a gun. His first arrest was at age 10, during the First Intifada, or "uprising," for throwing rocks at Israeli settlers.

The level of intense anger at Washington is heating up as several high-profile groups are calling on millions of Americans to slam Congress with phone calls, e-mails and faxes demanding that lawmakers vote "no" on the health-care bill.
As WND reported, reforms pushed by President Obama and other Democrats may be approved without ever actually having a direct vote, but could be "deemed" to have been passed and then signed into law by Obama. The process is called the "Slaughter Strategy," named for Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., who chairs the House Rules Committee.
'Deceiving the American people'
Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit group that focuses on constitutional litigation, has distributed a letter to every member of the House, showing that the proposed "Slaughter Strategy" is unconstitutional. Its members have slammed Congress with more than 250,000 faxes expressing outrage over the bill.
Article I, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution states, "Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; … in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively."
The clowns in Washington obviously have no clue about our founding document. Send them copies of the Constitution today!
The Founding Fathers included Article I, Section 7 in the Constitution to keep Congress accountable to the people, Liberty Counsel explained.
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Louise Slaughter are attempting to deceive the American people by refusing to cast votes on the actual language in the Senate health-care bill," the group said in a statement. "The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care."
Liberty Counsel warned that the Senate health-care bill funds abortion, rations care, limits freedom and will bankrupt America.
"The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care," said Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. "Last night President Obama said he is not concerned with the process. In other words, the end justifies any means. It is unbelievable that the president would disregard the Constitution and the rule of law to push a narrow political agenda that most Americans have rejected."
'Fourth down and goal to go'
Likewise, the American Family Association, or AFA, has joined the fight, sending out action alerts to its entire 2.5 million-member network, urging them to contact their representatives and press them to vote "no" on any and all versions of health-care reform proposals.

The level of intense anger at Washington is heating up as several high-profile groups are calling on millions of Americans to slam Congress with phone calls, e-mails and faxes demanding that lawmakers vote "no" on the health-care bill.
As WND reported, reforms pushed by President Obama and other Democrats may be approved without ever actually having a direct vote, but could be "deemed" to have been passed and then signed into law by Obama. The process is called the "Slaughter Strategy," named for Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., who chairs the House Rules Committee.
'Deceiving the American people'
Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit group that focuses on constitutional litigation, has distributed a letter to every member of the House, showing that the proposed "Slaughter Strategy" is unconstitutional. Its members have slammed Congress with more than 250,000 faxes expressing outrage over the bill.
Article I, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution states, "Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; … in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively."
The clowns in Washington obviously have no clue about our founding document. Send them copies of the Constitution today!
The Founding Fathers included Article I, Section 7 in the Constitution to keep Congress accountable to the people, Liberty Counsel explained.
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Louise Slaughter are attempting to deceive the American people by refusing to cast votes on the actual language in the Senate health-care bill," the group said in a statement. "The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care."
Liberty Counsel warned that the Senate health-care bill funds abortion, rations care, limits freedom and will bankrupt America.
"The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care," said Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. "Last night President Obama said he is not concerned with the process. In other words, the end justifies any means. It is unbelievable that the president would disregard the Constitution and the rule of law to push a narrow political agenda that most Americans have rejected."

Likewise, the American Family Association, or AFA, has joined the fight, sending out action alerts to its entire 2.5 million-member network, urging them to contact their representatives and press them to vote "no" on any and all versions of health-care reform proposals.

Also, in 1998, Obama participated on a panel discussion alongside Midwest Academy founder Heather Booth, an extremist organizer and dedicated disciple of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.
The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy. WND first reported Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization.
Midwest was co-founded by Booth's husband, Paul Booth, a founder and the former national secretary of Students for a Democratic Society, the radical 1960s anti-war movement from which Ayers' Weathermen splintered.
In 1999, Booth's Midwest Academy received $75,000 from the Woods Fund. In 2002, with Obama still serving on the Woods Fund, Midwest received another $23,500 for its Young Organizers Development Program.
Midwest describes itself as "one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change."

California Secretary of State Debra Bowen's re-election campaign has released a promotion that frets over the possibility an attorney who has worked on cases contesting Barack Obama's eligibility to be president could be her replacement.
Bowen's flier pleads for campaign donations because the candidacy by Orly Taitz is "to challenge President Obama's citizenship and invalidate the 2008 election."
"In fact, Taitz has sued Debra twice to try to invalidate Obama's victory," the flier says.

Laguna Niguel lawyer Orly Taitz, who’s gained a national following for efforts to prove Barack Obama’s presidency is illegitimate, has qualified to run for California secretary of state, said Orange County Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley.
In launching her campaign to be the state’s top elections official, Taitz is alleging that fellow Republican candidate Damon Dunn, a former NFL player living in Irvine, is ineligible to seek the GOP nomination. She says he’s committed voter and election fraud.
Taitz told me this morning that she’s running “to clean up the fraud we all have seen in the 2008 election. It is important to bring legitimacy to elections. And I will be fighting to ensure the California corporations are not overburdened by regulations.”
Taitz has seen the dismissal at least three lawsuits in which she’s attempted to prove that Obama is not a natural-citizen, alleging he may have been born in Kenya and that even if he was born in the United States, having a Kenyan father disqualified him. The native of the USSR, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was sanctioned $20,000 for misconduct by one court, with the fine upheld by an appeals court on Monday.
One of her failed lawsuits asked Secretary of State Debra Bowen to investigate Obama’s qualifications to be president. Taitz has repeatedly criticized Bowen for not verifying Obama status as a natural-born citizen. Bowen, a Democrat, is expected to win reelection against the eventual GOP nominee.
Kelley said that Taitz filed a complaint with his office, “55 or 60 pages” long. Among the allegations was that Dunn was registered as a Democrat within the last 12 months, which would disqualify him to seek the GOP nomination, Kelley said. Candidates must be registered for three months with the party they are running for, and cannot be registered for a different party for 12 months.
Kelley said that Dunn has been registered as a Republican in Orange County since March 17, 2009. That’s just short of the 12-month mark given the March 12 filing deadline, but meets the three month requirement.
Taitz offers evidence that Dunn was registered to vote in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Democrat. Dunn confirmed that he registered as a Democrat there in 1999, but said he left the city the same year and his registration there was subsequently terminated.
Dunn’s candidacy for the top elections job is itself unlikely, as he is a self-proclaimed “recovering non-voter.” He says he never voted before 2009. He said he registered as a Democrat in Jacksonville because his family is Democratic, and he was asked to register when he went to get a driver’s license.
His formal conversion to the GOP came more recently.
“My true philosophy has had a chance to emerge,” he said.
Kelley said he’s forwarded Taitz’s complaint that Dunn is ineligible to District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.

Taitz told me she is running a grassroots campaign and expects nationwide support.
“A lot of patriots of this country want a person who stands for accountability,” she said.
Both candidates want voters to provide more proof of their eligibility to vote. Taitz wants voters to provide verification of citizenship when they register. Dunn wants voters to provide photo identification when they register to vote and when they show up at the polls.
Like Taitz, Dunn said he’d like to use the office – which registers corporations – to address the state’s loss of jobs. Specifically, he’d use the office to hold exit interviews with businesses that terminated their registration.
“We need some empirical information about why they’re leaving,” he said.

I am convinced that Israel is the yardstick, blueprint, outline and program of God concerning what He is going to do with the nations of the world. It is absolutely incredible
that such a tiny nation can dominate the nightly world news week after week, month after month. Just who is Israel? What is it about this speck of land that is only the size of a thumbtack on a world map? Why has it been the center of attention for thousands of years? The answer to these questions is simple: It’s all about worship.
The recent war in the Middle East between Israel and Lebanon is a misnomer. The war, in fact, is not Israel fighting Hezbollah or visa versa; nor is it Israel fighting Syria, Iran, or even the religion of Islam. The war Israel has fought, is fighting, and will fight to the end of this age is the war between the forces of Satan and the forces of God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — the God of Israel. Jehovah is His Name. Hezbollah is simply one of many terrorist organizations Satan has seduced to fight his number one enemy: God. Thus the enemy of Israel, as well as America, is not Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestinians, Syria, Iran, Islam or Allah. Rather, the enemy is and always has been the one who desires worship to no one but himself — Satan.
One lesson the book of Job teaches is about the battle going on in the heavenlies. God wanted to teach Job — and all generations — about the war going on for the souls of mankind. Daniel 12:2, 12 and Ephesians 6:10-12 also reveal the intensity of this battle.

I have traveled to Israel many times and over 75 other countries of the world. When compared to places like the Alps of Europe and Switzerland, beautiful tropical islands, or the natural parks of America, Israel’s beauty does not come close. Is it then the natural resources that attract the enemies of Israel to conquer the land? Israel is hardly worth the dirt and sand it rests on. In fact, much of Israel is arid with literally nothing growing on it. Without irrigation and the revitalization which began less than 60 years ago as Israel became a nation, the land would be a virtual desert. No, it is not Israel’s beauty or natural resources that cause the surrounding Arab nations to want this place.
Jerusalem: Key to Conflict
So what is the source of all the conflict? The answer is Jerusalem. The reason Israel is so attractive to her enemies is Jerusalem. Yet Jerusalem cannot compare to the beauty of cities like Paris, London, or Rome. Every major city in the world has great attributes: size, architecture, wealth and major tourist attractions. What makes Jerusalem much more sought after than the other major cities of the world? The answer is found in the Bible. Jerusalem is known for belonging to God, and God has chosen to place His Name there. Some day all peoples of every nation will come and worship His Name in this Holy City. Jerusalem will be the praise center of the earth. The Bible declares Jerusalem is the city of
God. We read in Psalm 132:13, 14:
“For the LOR D has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: ‘This is my resting place forever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.’”
In 2 Chronicles 33:7, God says:
“In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.”
