From his prominent West Bank Muslim family to the Israeli intelligence service he served for a decade – and even to some professing Christians – people who know Mosab Hassan Yousef are finding it difficult to explain his radical transformation.
The son and heir apparent of a founder of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, Yousef broke the heart of his pious, close-knit family and put their lives and his own in danger with his announcement two years ago that he had become a follower of Jesus Christ. Today, the threats have only intensified since he shifted his mission from saving lives by battling terrorism to saving Muslims souls by exposing Islam as "the biggest lie in human history."
In a telephone conference call Thursday with WND and several Christian publications, Yousef explained that, along with Hamas, secular media and members of some mainline Christian denominations are trying to discredit the story he tells in the new book "Son of Hamas," which is No. 10 on the New York Times best-seller list this week.
It's a story many find hard to believe, he acknowledged.
But the "secret is very simple," said the 32-year-old Yousef. "When the love of our Lord is in a man's heart, this man acts totally different."
"They don't want to admit that," he said of his detractors. "If they admit that what changed my life was Jesus Christ, this will open lots of questions, and they don't want to go there."

He's now settled in Southern California after working alongside his father, Sheik Hassan Yousef, in the West Bank city of al-Ghaniya near Ramallah while secretly embracing Christian faith and serving as one of the top spies for Israel's internal security arm, Shin Bet.
Hamas has dismissed his claims as Zionist propaganda, but one of his Shin Bet handlers has confirmed his account to the Israeli daily Haaretz. Yousef was recruited by Shin Bet in 1996 at the age of 18 while at a detention facility of the Russian Compound in Jerusalem. He was arrested after buying a gun. His first arrest was at age 10, during the First Intifada, or "uprising," for throwing rocks at Israeli settlers.

The level of intense anger at Washington is heating up as several high-profile groups are calling on millions of Americans to slam Congress with phone calls, e-mails and faxes demanding that lawmakers vote "no" on the health-care bill.
As WND reported, reforms pushed by President Obama and other Democrats may be approved without ever actually having a direct vote, but could be "deemed" to have been passed and then signed into law by Obama. The process is called the "Slaughter Strategy," named for Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., who chairs the House Rules Committee.
'Deceiving the American people'
Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit group that focuses on constitutional litigation, has distributed a letter to every member of the House, showing that the proposed "Slaughter Strategy" is unconstitutional. Its members have slammed Congress with more than 250,000 faxes expressing outrage over the bill.
Article I, Section 7 of the U.S. Constitution states, "Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; … in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively."

The Founding Fathers included Article I, Section 7 in the Constitution to keep Congress accountable to the people, Liberty Counsel explained.
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Louise Slaughter are attempting to deceive the American people by refusing to cast votes on the actual language in the Senate health-care bill," the group said in a statement. "The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care."
Liberty Counsel warned that the Senate health-care bill funds abortion, rations care, limits freedom and will bankrupt America.
"The president and his allies in Congress are masters of confusion and deception. They have a political agenda which distorts the facts regarding health care," said Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. "Last night President Obama said he is not concerned with the process. In other words, the end justifies any means. It is unbelievable that the president would disregard the Constitution and the rule of law to push a narrow political agenda that most Americans have rejected."
'Fourth down and goal to go'
Likewise, the American Family Association, or AFA, has joined the fight, sending out action alerts to its entire 2.5 million-member network, urging them to contact their representatives and press them to vote "no" on any and all versions of health-care reform proposals.
AFA also sent targeted action alerts into districts of 46 Democratic congressmen whose positions on this weekend's vote remain uncertain.
Buddy Smith, AFA executive vice president said, "It's fourth down and goal to go, and Democrats are trying desperately to push government takeover of health care across the goal line. The American people need to stand as one against this radical attempt to remake our country and put government bureaucrats between their families and their health-care providers."

Also, in 1998, Obama participated on a panel discussion alongside Midwest Academy founder Heather Booth, an extremist organizer and dedicated disciple of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.
The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy. WND first reported Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization.
Midwest was co-founded by Booth's husband, Paul Booth, a founder and the former national secretary of Students for a Democratic Society, the radical 1960s anti-war movement from which Ayers' Weathermen splintered.
In 1999, Booth's Midwest Academy received $75,000 from the Woods Fund. In 2002, with Obama still serving on the Woods Fund, Midwest received another $23,500 for its Young Organizers Development Program.
Midwest describes itself as "one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change."

California Secretary of State Debra Bowen's re-election campaign has released a promotion that frets over the possibility an attorney who has worked on cases contesting Barack Obama's eligibility to be president could be her replacement.
Bowen's flier pleads for campaign donations because the candidacy by Orly Taitz is "to challenge President Obama's citizenship and invalidate the 2008 election."
"In fact, Taitz has sued Debra twice to try to invalidate Obama's victory," the flier says.
However, it is Obama's status as a "natural born citizen," as required by the U.S. Constitution, that has been at issue in cases handled by Taitz. Some of her challenges are pending at the appellate level.
Taitz told WND the action "clearly shows that [Bowen] is concerned."

Laguna Niguel lawyer Orly Taitz, who’s gained a national following for efforts to prove Barack Obama’s presidency is illegitimate, has qualified to run for California secretary of state, said Orange County Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley.
In launching her campaign to be the state’s top elections official, Taitz is alleging that fellow Republican candidate Damon Dunn, a former NFL player living in Irvine, is ineligible to seek the GOP nomination. She says he’s committed voter and election fraud.
Taitz told me this morning that she’s running “to clean up the fraud we all have seen in the 2008 election. It is important to bring legitimacy to elections. And I will be fighting to ensure the California corporations are not overburdened by regulations.”
Taitz has seen the dismissal at least three lawsuits in which she’s attempted to prove that Obama is not a natural-citizen, alleging he may have been born in Kenya and that even if he was born in the United States, having a Kenyan father disqualified him. The native of the USSR, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was sanctioned $20,000 for misconduct by one court, with the fine upheld by an appeals court on Monday.
One of her failed lawsuits asked Secretary of State Debra Bowen to investigate Obama’s qualifications to be president. Taitz has repeatedly criticized Bowen for not verifying Obama status as a natural-born citizen. Bowen, a Democrat, is expected to win reelection against the eventual GOP nominee.
Kelley said that Taitz filed a complaint with his office, “55 or 60 pages” long. Among the allegations was that Dunn was registered as a Democrat within the last 12 months, which would disqualify him to seek the GOP nomination, Kelley said. Candidates must be registered for three months with the party they are running for, and cannot be registered for a different party for 12 months.
Kelley said that Dunn has been registered as a Republican in Orange County since March 17, 2009. That’s just short of the 12-month mark given the March 12 filing deadline, but meets the three month requirement.
Taitz offers evidence that Dunn was registered to vote in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Democrat. Dunn confirmed that he registered as a Democrat there in 1999, but said he left the city the same year and his registration there was subsequently terminated.
Dunn’s candidacy for the top elections job is itself unlikely, as he is a self-proclaimed “recovering non-voter.” He says he never voted before 2009. He said he registered as a Democrat in Jacksonville because his family is Democratic, and he was asked to register when he went to get a driver’s license.
His formal conversion to the GOP came more recently.
“My true philosophy has had a chance to emerge,” he said.
Kelley said he’s forwarded Taitz’s complaint that Dunn is ineligible to District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.

Taitz told me she is running a grassroots campaign and expects nationwide support.
“A lot of patriots of this country want a person who stands for accountability,” she said.
Both candidates want voters to provide more proof of their eligibility to vote. Taitz wants voters to provide verification of citizenship when they register. Dunn wants voters to provide photo identification when they register to vote and when they show up at the polls.
Like Taitz, Dunn said he’d like to use the office – which registers corporations – to address the state’s loss of jobs. Specifically, he’d use the office to hold exit interviews with businesses that terminated their registration.
“We need some empirical information about why they’re leaving,” he said.

I am convinced that Israel is the yardstick, blueprint, outline and program of God concerning what He is going to do with the nations of the world. It is absolutely incredible
that such a tiny nation can dominate the nightly world news week after week, month after month. Just who is Israel? What is it about this speck of land that is only the size of a thumbtack on a world map? Why has it been the center of attention for thousands of years? The answer to these questions is simple: It’s all about worship.
The recent war in the Middle East between Israel and Lebanon is a misnomer. The war, in fact, is not Israel fighting Hezbollah or visa versa; nor is it Israel fighting Syria, Iran, or even the religion of Islam. The war Israel has fought, is fighting, and will fight to the end of this age is the war between the forces of Satan and the forces of God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — the God of Israel. Jehovah is His Name. Hezbollah is simply one of many terrorist organizations Satan has seduced to fight his number one enemy: God. Thus the enemy of Israel, as well as America, is not Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestinians, Syria, Iran, Islam or Allah. Rather, the enemy is and always has been the one who desires worship to no one but himself — Satan.
One lesson the book of Job teaches is about the battle going on in the heavenlies. God wanted to teach Job — and all generations — about the war going on for the souls of mankind. Daniel 12:2, 12 and Ephesians 6:10-12 also reveal the intensity of this battle.

But why is Israel so central to this age-old battle? What is it about Israel that is so attractive? Surely it is not Israel’s natural beauty. I have traveled to Israel many times and over 75 other countries of the world. When compared to places like the Alps of Europe and Switzerland, beautiful tropical islands, or the natural parks of America, Israel’s beauty does not come close. Is it then the natural resources that attract the enemies of Israel to conquer the land? Israel is hardly worth the dirt and sand it rests on. In fact, much of Israel is arid with literally nothing growing on it. Without irrigation and the revitalization which began less than 60 years ago as Israel became a nation, the land would be a virtual desert. No, it is not Israel’s beauty or natural resources that cause the surrounding Arab nations to want this place.
Jerusalem: Key to Conflict
So what is the source of all the conflict? The answer is Jerusalem. The reason Israel is so attractive to her enemies is Jerusalem. Yet Jerusalem cannot compare to the beauty of cities like Paris, London, or Rome. Every major city in the world has great attributes: size, architecture, wealth and major tourist attractions. What makes Jerusalem much more sought after than the other major cities of the world? The answer is found in the Bible. Jerusalem is known for belonging to God, and God has chosen to place His Name there. Some day all peoples of every nation will come and worship His Name in this Holy City. Jerusalem will be the praise center of the earth. The Bible declares Jerusalem is the city of
God. We read in Psalm 132:13, 14:
“For the LOR D has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: ‘This is my resting place forever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.’”
In 2 Chronicles 33:7, God says:
“In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.”

In 2 Chronicles 33:7, God says:
“In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.”

A California lawyer who continues to shepherd several of the high-profile legal challenges to Barack Obama's eligibility to be president says she's ready and willing to investigate the issue herself – as California's secretary of state.
Attorney Orly Taitz told WND today she is considering – and will decide very quickly because of a coming deadline – whether she should submit her own name as a candidate for the state office.
That office supervises elections, and if elected secretary of state, she presumably would have the authority to investigate the qualifications of candidates, since previous officeholders in the state have done just that.
According to online state records about the qualifications for various elected offices, California states, "Generally, in order to run for office, a candidate must be a registered voter in California, a resident of this state, and otherwise qualified to vote for the office for which he or she wishes to run."
Taitz previously has filed actions in a number of jurisdictions. A recent filing in Washington, D.C., is requesting a preliminary injunction providing access to information about Obama's qualifications.
She also has handled cases in California on behalf of presidential candidate Alan Keyes, which now is on appeal, another in Georgia on behalf of Maj. Stefan Cook, and yet another in Georgia on behalf of Capt. Connie Rhodes.
WND has reported efforts to raise the question of Obama's eligibility at the state and national levels since before the 2008 election.
Numerous lawsuits have been filed alleging Obama did not meet the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural born citizen." The lawsuits have asserted he either was not born in Hawaii as he claims or was a dual citizen because of his father's British citizenship at the time of his birth. Questions also have been raised about his travels to Pakistan as a youth.

A local newspaper ran a two-page article on the concert titled "Calling All Christians," and that's exactly what Jim Plack and the organizers of Jubileefest are doing, seeking to gather 1 million people to a farm outside of tiny Houston, Del., this summer for a praise and prayer event for the nation.
"Every Christian should be there," quipped the Jubileefest website, "but we only have room for a million."
Never mind that Jubileefest is in its inaugural year. Never mind that the crowd Plack is hoping to gather is more than three times larger than any Christian concert event in history and twice as big as 1969's "Three Days of Peace and Music." Plack is trusting God to fulfill the vision he says the Almighty has given him, a vision for a concert that will impact the nation even more than the fabled Woodstock.
"If half a million hippies can gather on farm in New York to do drugs and have sex," Plack told WND, "certainly God can bring a million Christians to a farm in Delaware."

JERUSALEM– A member of the U.S. government met with organizers of Tuesday's "International Temple Mount Awareness Day" to pepper the activists about their intentions regarding Jewish ascent to the holy site.
"It was obvious," one of the planners told WND, "the individual who met with us from the Obama government was concerned about the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and what is being done to deepen it."
The organizer talked on condition of anonymity and also on condition that WND kept confidential the name of the U.S. official who met with the Temple event planners.
The International Temple Mount Awareness Day is being planned by a coalition of Jewish groups, including The Temple Institute, the Organization for the Renewal of the Temple (ORT), Women in Green, the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation and Israel National Radio.
"We call on Jews and Gentiles around the world to mark March 16th as a day of solidarity with the Temple Mount and the prophetic vision of 'a house of prayer for all nations,'" reads a statement from the organizers of the event.
In coordination with the Waqf, the Mount's Islamic custodians, police here ban all non-Muslims from praying on the Mount despite an Israeli Supreme Court decision requiring police to offer an arrangement that will enable public Jewish prayer on the site.

Well, we sure won't hear this from the White House or Souter himself how it really went down. An "apparent suicide" may not be what he has in mind for his early retirement, from what is otherwise usually a life-long postion in the Supreme Court.
Souter was a very strong advocate for "individual liberties".
The information in this article comes translated from the FSB, formly known as the KGB. They have eyes and ears most everywhere, just like the US intel agencies do. The FSB is the equivalent to the NSA (National Security Agency) here in the states.

FSB reported to the Kremlin that United States Supreme Court Justice David Souter was forced to resign over his refusing an order from Bush-appointed Chief Justice John Roberts to support the planned implementation of Martial Law within the US planned for this coming fall due to the combining of the current H1N1 Swine Flu virus with the H5N1 Avian Flu.

According to these reports, Justice Souter, Justice Ruth Ginsberg and Justice Samuel Alito were all refusing Chief Justice Roberts orders, a protégé of Justice Alito, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General under President Clinton, and head of fundraising for Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential bid, Mark Levy, was “suicided” prompting Justice Souter’s immediate resignation.
Attorney Mark Levy, these reports continue, was a classmate of the former President Clinton and his wife Hillary at Yale and was actively working with Justices Souter, Ginsberg and Alito in preparing a US Supreme Court challenge to the planned implementation of Martial Law and was an experienced litigator before America’s highest court having argued 16 prior cases before them.
On the apparent suicide of Levy by those forces supporting Martial Law, the Washington Post, known by the FSB as the “CIA’s mouthpiece”, reports that Levy’s shooting a bullet through his head was due to has having been laid off from his job at the prestigious Kilpatrick Stockton law firm, but which these reports state is “ludicrous” as Levy and his family are worth tens-of-millions of dollars and his vast connections within Washington D.C. through the Clinton’s and Usurper Obama “assured” his place as one of the United States top legal workers for decades to come.
What is most surprising about all of these events though is how utterly clueless the American people are as to what is happening around them, which becomes even more astounding when viewed in the light of past historical events that clearly show the machinations the elite Western banking class use in pushing forth their agenda for a New World Order, and which include, Global Economic Collapse, Global Pandemic and Global War.
Even worse, these deluded Americans continue to rely upon their propaganda media organs for information that even the most cursory of research shows is nearly all total lies being told to keep them from knowing, and acting on the truth.
An example of this is Reuters News Services London bureau commenting yesterday on our April 25th report “Mexican Drug Cartel Linked With al Qaeda Unleashes Pandemic” by stating:
“But one link experts probably won't be exploring is an Internet report charging that Mexican drug cartels working with al Qaeda unleashed the swine flu. “The claim of the conspiracy theorists is that this new combination could not have occurred naturally, but this is not true,” the New Scientist's biology editor Michael Le Page wrote.” “Flu viruses consisting of a mixture of human, swine and bird strains have been found before.”
A statement that is contradicted by facts, and as we can read as reported by US Researcher Andrea Neblett, who says:
“The strain of swine flu sweeping around the world is a unique strain — it combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way that researchers have not seen before. It has bird flu from North America, swine flu from Europe, and swine flu from Asia. Humans do not have natural immunity to this strain.”
Suffice it to say, and as these latest Russian FSB reports confirm, the current bio-engineered H1N1 Swine Flu Virus currently sweeping the Globe is but a precursor to the much more important events coming this fall, but which is allowing the United States and its Western allies to begin implementing Martial Law against their citizens who are waking up to the fact that all of their Nations are totally bankrupt and their capitalistic way of life corrupted beyond all repair.
Or, as better stated by the United Nations General Assembly President Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, “The current global economic and financial crisis proves that the logic of capitalism is evil and suicidal.”

On the apparent suicide of Levy by those forces supporting Martial Law, the Washington Post, known by the FSB as the “CIA’s mouthpiece”, reports that Levy’s shooting a bullet through his head was due to has having been laid off from his job at the prestigious Kilpatrick Stockton law firm, but which these reports state is “ludicrous” as Levy and his family are worth tens-of-millions of dollars and his vast connections within Washington D.C. through the Clinton’s and Usurper Obama “assured” his place as one of the United States top legal workers for decades to come.
What is most surprising about all of these events though is how utterly clueless the American people are as to what is happening around them, which becomes even more astounding when viewed in the light of past historical events that clearly show the machinations the elite Western banking class use in pushing forth their agenda for a New World Order, and which include, Global Economic Collapse, Global Pandemic and Global War.
Even worse, these deluded Americans continue to rely upon their propaganda media organs for information that even the most cursory of research shows is nearly all total lies being told to keep them from knowing, and acting on the truth.
An example of this is Reuters News Services London bureau commenting yesterday on our April 25th report “Mexican Drug Cartel Linked With al Qaeda Unleashes Pandemic” by stating:
“But one link experts probably won't be exploring is an Internet report charging that Mexican drug cartels working with al Qaeda unleashed the swine flu. “The claim of the conspiracy theorists is that this new combination could not have occurred naturally, but this is not true,” the New Scientist's biology editor Michael Le Page wrote.” “Flu viruses consisting of a mixture of human, swine and bird strains have been found before.”
A statement that is contradicted by facts, and as we can read as reported by US Researcher Andrea Neblett, who says:
“The strain of swine flu sweeping around the world is a unique strain — it combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way that researchers have not seen before. It has bird flu from North America, swine flu from Europe, and swine flu from Asia. Humans do not have natural immunity to this strain.”
Suffice it to say, and as these latest Russian FSB reports confirm, the current bio-engineered H1N1 Swine Flu Virus currently sweeping the Globe is but a precursor to the much more important events coming this fall, but which is allowing the United States and its Western allies to begin implementing Martial Law against their citizens who are waking up to the fact that all of their Nations are totally bankrupt and their capitalistic way of life corrupted beyond all repair.
Or, as better stated by the United Nations General Assembly President Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, “The current global economic and financial crisis proves that the logic of capitalism is evil and suicidal.”

Christian and Jewish leaders are inviting Americans to join them at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., to pray and repent for how the nation has turned from God.
"May Day: a Cry to God for Our Nation in Distress" will take place May 1 from sunrise to 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
"Our nation faces what is perhaps the most serious moral crisis since the civil war as we've turned our backs on God and have clearly displeased him," Dr. James Dobson said in an invitation to Americans to attend the event. "May Day 2010 is a time to come together and proclaim what God has done in the past, to pray for forgiveness and to plead for God's mercy on all of us."
They will gather for one purpose: repentance.
The group will repent for how the nation has turned from God in every area of influence: 1) business 2) government, 3) media, 4) arts and entertainment, 5) education, 6) the family and 7) religion and invite God back into each area of Americans' lives.
Dobson is part of a 36-member committee organizing the event. Other committee members include Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, Rep. Israeli police clash with Palestinians in Jerusalem's Old City
The most serious unrest in Jerusalem's sacred Old City in five months came after days of disturbances in the West Bank triggered by a declaration that two Jewish shrines on Palestinian territory would be declared Israeli heritage sites.
At least 14 protestors and four policemen were hurt during the clashes as battles raged both in the winding alleyways of Jerusalem's walled Old City and at the hilltop compound of the al-Aqsa mosque where the trouble first started.
The youths believed the tourists to be Jewish radicals intent on reclaiming the compound, which also houses the Dome of the Rock, for Israel.
Marking the spot where the two Hebrew temples of antiquity once stood, the compound is venerated by both the Jews, who call it the Temple Mount, and by Muslims, for whom it is the Haram al-Sharif, or Noble Sanctuary.
The clashes erupted on the Jewish holiday of Purim, which commemorates the deliverance of the Israelites from the Persian vizier Haman.
Some Jewish spiritual leaders have called on their followers to increase their presence on the compound on festival days as part of a campaign one day to rebuild the Temple. Such calls have been condemned by most Israeli religious and political leaders.
The entry of Israeli forces into the compound to quell the disturbances was condemned both by Palestinian leaders and by the Jordanian monarch, Abdullah II.
"Israel's unilateral measures are very provocative and seek to change the identity of Jerusalem, threatening peace efforts in the region," the king said.
Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian leader in the West Bank, last week warned Israel that it risked sparking a "religious war" after Benjamin Netanyahu, its prime minister, placed the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Bethlehem's tomb of Rachel on a list of Israeli protected sites.
Partitioned into Muslim and Jewish sections, the building housing the Tomb of the Patriarchs is a historical flashpoint between Israelis and Palestinians. On the Purim holiday 16 years ago, a Jewish settler entered the Muslim side and shot dead 29Palestinians at prayer.

White House 'on board' Palestinian unilateral statehood threat; Projectile 'was ready to be launched towards the center of the country'

TEL AVIV – Recent meetings between the Obama administration and the Palestinian Authority revealed the White House is on board a Palestinian threat to unilaterally ask the United Nations to recognize a Palestinian state outside of negotiations with Israel, a senior PA negotiator told WND.
The negotiator further claimed the entire European Union leadership has backed the plot.
WND previously reported the PA's chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat, headed a team that held a series of meetings in December with members of the Obama administration in Washington to discuss the U.S. response should the Palestinians bring to the U.N. Security Council a resolution to unilaterally create a Palestinian state.
"The U.S. position is less restrained than it appears in the media," a PA official told WND in December, referring to media claims the U.S. would veto any such resolution.

Yesterday, a senior PA negotiator stated the Obama administration still has not threatened to veto the conceptual unilateral resolution and even indicated the U.S. would support such a resolution.
"The U.S. prefers a negotiated settlement but indicated they would back the resolution if talks don't progress," the PA negotiator said.
The official also said the U.S. supports the creation of a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders, meaning in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem.
In a recent WND interview, Ahmed Qurei, former PA prime minister and member of the Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee, said the PA "reached an understanding with important elements within the (Obama) administration" to possibly bring the resolution to the U.N. Security Council.
Asked to which "elements" he was referring, Qurei would only say they were from the Obama administration.
A top PA negotiator, speaking on condition of anonymity, named the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, and National Security Council member Samantha Power as among the Obama administration officials who were involved with the Palestinians' U.N. threat.
"The U.S. told us that they prefer a negotiated settlement with Israel, but if we (Palestinians) insist on a resolution, the Americans will not necessarily reject it," the PA negotiator said.
"The U.S. has a history of never before vetoing any U.N. move to create a new state," the negotiator pointed out.

"The U.S. prefers a negotiated settlement but indicated they would back the resolution if talks don't progress," the PA negotiator said.
The official also said the U.S. supports the creation of a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders, meaning in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem.
In a recent WND interview, Ahmed Qurei, former PA prime minister and member of the Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee, said the PA "reached an understanding with important elements within the (Obama) administration" to possibly bring the resolution to the U.N. Security Council.
Asked to which "elements" he was referring, Qurei would only say they were from the Obama administration.
A top PA negotiator, speaking on condition of anonymity, named the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, and National Security Council member Samantha Power as among the Obama administration officials who were involved with the Palestinians' U.N. threat.
"The U.S. told us that they prefer a negotiated settlement with Israel, but if we (Palestinians) insist on a resolution, the Americans will not necessarily reject it," the PA negotiator said.
"The U.S. has a history of never before vetoing any U.N. move to create a new state," the negotiator pointed out.

It has been released for publication that the Palestinian Authority two weeks ago arrested five members of Hamas and discovered a Qassam rocket in Beit Likya, a village about four miles from Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport.
PA security sources speaking to WND did not rule out the possibility Hamas was intending to fire the rocket as part of revenge for the assassination in Dubai last month of Hamas member Mahmud al-Mabhouh.

"We're in trouble in America," he told a packed room at the first national tea party convention in Nashville. "We're losing our moral bearings. We're losing our respect for the rule of law. You look around America today, and things are bad – and they're getting worse. We're broke. We're dispirited. We're scared."
Farah said Americans have lived through years of reckless government spending under the administrations of Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush – each promoting big government, less freedom and declining morality.
Why the sudden wake-up call in 2009 and 2010?
He compared stirring of Americans to the proverbial frog in a pot of water that is slowly getting hotter. It enjoys the balmy temperature and doesn't realize it's being slowly boiled to death.
"It is my theory that Americans have been that frog in the pot for at least the last 20 years," Farah said. "We've been moving closer and closer to socialism, further away from God, the Constitution and doing what's right – all the while not noticing that it's killing our nation."

He said slowly but surely Americans have been turning their backs on the sacrifices their forefathers made in the name of liberty.

"It's not enough to criticize these institutions. They need to be taken over, redeemed, reborn."
The crowd cheered energetically.

President Obama today at the National Prayer Breakfast raised the issue of his own eligibility for office – saying that people shouldn't be questioning his "citizenship."
Talking about the issue of "civility," he said, "Now, I am the first to confess I am not always right. Michelle will testify to that. But surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith, or, for that matter, my citizenship."

Obama continues, "Challenging each other's ideas can renew our democracy. But when we challenge each other's motives, it becomes harder to see what we hold in common. We forget that we share at some deep level the same dreams – even when we don't share the same plans on how to fulfill them."
The questions, however, over Obama's "citizenship," actually go to the core of the American republic. Multiple lawsuits have challenged that he is not qualified for the Oval Office under the Constitution's requirement that U.S. presidents be a "natural born citizen."
The plaintiffs – who run into the hundreds so far and who still have a number of cases pending at the appellate level – have alleged that failing to meet that constitutional requirement means he actually is a usurper, with no actual authority to be president.
On a forum page at The Hill newspaper, one commenter wrote that the president has only himself to blame for the questions.
"Personally I am no birther … but I am curious as to why Obama continues to beat on this issue .. is it a political ploy by his handlers to continue to use this as a divisive issue? To try and embarrass a certain segment of the population? And if not, why doesn't he just provide the certificate and end all the speculation for the conspirators once and for all? Obama has certainly been a little less than forthcoming on his grades, his Harvard review publications and many other accomplishments…"
The reference apparently was the first time the issue has been addressed by Obama, even though he did not provide any answers. His press secretary, Robert Gibbs, repeatedly has ridiculed questions related to the subject, and the White House itself has declined to respond to any of a multitude of questions submitted by WND over months on the issue.

The multiple Obama eligibility cases have cited Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, which states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
Some of the lawsuits question whether Obama was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama's American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.

Other challenges have focused on Obama's citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
Further, others question his citizenship by virtue of his attendance in Indonesian schools during his childhood and question on what passport did he travel to Pakistan three decades ago.
Adding fuel to the fire is Obama's persistent refusal to release documents that could provide answers and the appointment – at a cost confirmed to be at least $1.7 million – of myriad lawyers to defend against all requests for his documentation, such as his original birth certificate. While his supporters cite an online version of a "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii as his birth verification, critics point out such documents actually were issued for children not born in the state.
Among documentation not yet available for Obama is his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.
Because of the dearth of information about Obama's eligibility, WND founder Joseph Farah has launched a campaign to raise contributions to post billboards asking a simple question: "Where's the birth certificate?"

The true "long-form" birth certificate – which includes information such as the name of the birth hospital and attending physician – is the only document that can prove Obama was born in Hawaii, but to date he has not permitted its release for public or press scrutiny. Oddly, though congressional hearings were held to determine whether Sen. John McCain was constitutionally eligible to be president as a "natural born citizen," no controlling legal authority ever sought to verify Obama's claim to a Hawaiian birth.
